Meet Jordan Bray

A woman with light skin, brown hair, and blue eyes smiling, dressed in a dark brown, long-sleeve blouse with buttons, standing against a gray background.

Hi, I’m Jordan!

I believe that every individual is capable of personal growth and healing. I approach each session with openness and curiosity, helping you to be more present and discover what really matters. I know this work can be challenging, but I will support you on this meaningful and important journey of acceptance, self-discovery, and transformation.

Jordan Bray (she/her), LPC-A

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Who I Work Best With

The Open-Minded

You’re willing to learn how to accept difficult emotions, engage in mindfulness, and take meaningful action towards your goals.

The Curious

You’re curious about and open to self-experimenting with your own mental and physical health and interested in the journey of holistic, mind-body healing.

The Motivated

You’re motivated to change thoughts and behaviors and build a life that aligns with your values, rather than just focusing on eliminating symptoms.

What I Offer

My Clinical Approach

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Somatic Therapy; but I'll try whatever works for you and ask you to tell me what lands. In using these modalities, I will ask you at times to try new things that may pull you out of your comfort zone (like learning new skills to handle difficult thoughts and feelings), but you never have to do them. You are always free to say no to anything I suggest.

My Personal Approach

First and foremost, I hope to create a safe and validating environment for our counseling journey together. In each session, I will give you my full attention with openness, compassion, and curiosity. I value the uniqueness of every individual I work with, and I truly appreciate the gift I have been granted in working with you at such a deep level. I see us as fellow travelers on the same inspiring and sometimes painful human journey, and I believe that we both have a lot to learn from one another.

When it seems relevant, I love to find ways I can utilize these skills in my therapeutic approach, as well.
